Ayyukan IPS-LCD sun fi dacewa da nuni na TFT-LCD

IPS shi ne haɗakarwa don sauyawa a cikin jirgin, wanda shine fasahar allon da aka yi amfani da shi ta fuskar LCD . An tsara fasinja a cikin jirgi don magance ƙuntatawa a cikin fuskokin LCD na ƙarshen shekarun 1980 da suka yi amfani da matrix matakan da ke da tasiri. Samsung ya gabatar da Super PLS (Plane-to-Line Switching) a 2010 a madadin IPS. Ya yi kama da IPS amma tare da ƙarin amfani da kyakkyawar kallo, haɓaka haske na kashi 10, tsarin mai sauƙi, mafi kyawun hoto, da kashi 15 cikin dari na ƙasa fiye da IPS-LCDs.

A shekarar 2012, AU Optronics ta gabatar da AHVA (Advanced Hyper-Viewing Angle) don samar da wani zaɓi na IPS wanda ya nuna nau'in panfurin IPS kamar yadda ya kamata.
